February’s One Monthly Goal

I missed the deadline last month to get in on The One Monthly Goal with Elm Street Quilts: so I made sure that I marked the date down for this month. I am hoping that this will help keep me organized and on task. I have decided that is one of my personal goals this year. You can read more about that here. So I will be sharing at least one project a month that will be started and completed. 🙂 I feel really good about this.

For the month of February my goal is to completely finish this project…..

I had some random Shop Hop blocks and these beautiful gifted applique blocks………magic happened when I placed them together. I have had it on my wall since last month and it is time to “Git er Done” ( channeling my inner Mater. :)lolol)

I need to do some filler blocks or fabric fill ins  and then secure the applique pieces. Then piece them all together. I would love to have it quilted and in the donation pile by the end of the month. We shall see this month is a shortie and a busy one at that.

The 2008 Shop Hop blocks are (fabrics are specially made for the shop hop) In The Beginning Fabrics and the applique blocks are Batiks. I just love these fabrics and while you can’t get the ones I used these would be amazing substitutions .

I am looking forward to seeing all the wonderful inspiration that is being worked on this month. We can do it Ladies and Gents!!

Until next time…….keep on planning.
