I have been asked a few times now, ‘How do I keep my blocks organized?’ I talked about this in depth in a former post HERE.
With all the blocks that I make, I have found this to be my absolutely favorite way to store my blocks. I tend to work on many projects at once or I am in a Quilt Along and want to store the blocks for a time. I have a free pattern for you HERE. This is adjustable to the size you may need. This allows you to use a UFO block on the front and work with your scraps. The two at the top are 9″ square and I am storing my current Calio Cat blocks in. The other is storing my Shop Hop Blocks that I made a couple of Winters ago. I have 9 or 10 BlockKeepers currently, that I rotate in use. They cover sizes from 4″ all the way up to 20″. I only just realized that if I want to make the Swoon Blocks I will need a larger keeper. So that is on my Summer TO DO LIST. If there is enough interest I would be happy to do a tutorial showing the process of how to make one of these in valuable organizational tools.
I hope that this answers those questions that some of you have asked. 🌞
Until next time……………….Always creating!
