May’s Finished Goals and Projects

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!

May has been such a month of growth and progress. I hit this year at a running pace not stopping to look much further then the next moment. However, I have taken this month to really stop and re-access goals(both personal and professional) and priorities (personal, family, and professionally). I never want to loss myself in empty pursuits or in “Jonesious” (trying to out do the Jones syndrome).

I see so many that are just doing to do. If that makes any sense.

I have often just followed my own path no matter where it leads me but there are times when I get out that zone and am just “doing to do”. It isn’t until I stop, recenter myself that I can find my path again and that is just what I have done this month. This link up each month has really helped me to focus on what should get done and what I want to get done. I find myself really thinking about the projects that I want to work on because there is a purpose for it – a home is waiting for it. These are the projects that bring me the most pleasure.  Filling my soul with a Joy that is hard to explain.

While I wasn’t able to finish as many as I had wanted to, I did finish a nice amount of floppy tops. I was able to do a few other projects as well. So I consider that a WIN!

This is a means to actually making a goal and working towards that end. I find that it is easier to do this with the family goals or work goals but somewhere along the way I drop the motivation when it comes to my personal goals. So I am ever so grateful for this outlet and to have the help of follow thorough with a monthly prompt. I realize that I make many mistakes along the way: I look at this like how I look at grey hair………I earned every one, they represent growth, a lesson learned, a milestone, love gained and love lost……. I am sure it will not be the last. I QUILTED 4 Floppy tops and 1 table runner. I also, made 3 Reversible Aprons and a Oriole Bag by Sew Sweetness. Quite the accomplishment given how busy the month has been. I can’t wait to see what next months goals will be.

I hope that you enjoy my SHOW N TELL of this months finishes.

Until Next Time……………………Keeping it real!
